Referring a patient
We accept referrals from primary care, emergency departments, hospitalists and specialty practices across North Texas, and offer telemedicine for patients anywhere in the state.

Urgent consults
Call the office directly for time-sensitive questions. For a suspected acute stroke or status epilepticus, send the patient to the nearest emergency department.
How to refer

- Referral reason and working diagnosis
- Current medication list, with doses
- Relevant imaging reports (and CD or portal access if available)
- Prior EEG, EMG or nerve-conduction reports
- Recent labs, including B12, TSH and A1c where relevant
- Insurance information and preferred contact number
Coordinating care
We send a note back after every visit
Referring providers receive the consultation note, testing results and the plan. Tell us how you prefer to receive them.
